Before the COVID-19 pandemic, opioid overdose numbers were very high in Calhoun County, where Summit Pointe concentrates its behavioral health focus. Since, those numbers have compounded.

In this episode of the Summit Pointe series, Nicole and Meghan discuss a grant that is funding innovative ways to make Naloxone (brand name NARCAN) more readily available to those who need it – and attempt to reduce the overdose numbers. Click to hear their approach.
